Ok, wederom een topic met dezelfde vragen welke overal gesteld worden. Echter zie ik door de zoveel topics de bomen niet meer door het bos....
Ik heb een Polo 6C van 2015 met BCM 6C0 937 089C. De auto heeft op dit moment wel cruisecontrole op de hendel maar een kaal stuur.
Heb het volgende stuur gekocht:
6R 6C04 19091AA
Kabelset voor het stuur: 6C0971584C
Nu lees ik op UK polo een verhaal welke ik niet helemaal begrijp. Heb een stuk gekopieerd in de hoop dat het werkt.
Herken de MFSW kabels, sleepring stekker maar de foto met de bruine kabels hier gelijk onder niet. Moet ik nu onder andere de kabels van de sleepring aanpassen?
Een ander ding waar ik mee zit is de automatisch dimmende binnenspiegel en regensensor. Mij is een spiegel verkocht met artikelnummer 3G0-857-511-AM-9B9. Dit is een Polo 3G spiegel. Past allemaal mooi maar niet wat ik voor ogen had. Inplaats van 3 kabels heb ik nu 4 kabels. Begrijp even niet precies hoe dit aan te sluiten evenals de 3 polige kabel voor de licht/regensensor.
Kan iemand enige sturing geven wat hiermee te doen? De juiste draadschemas kan ik misschien een stukje verder mee komen. Betreft de laatste aansluitingen dan kan ik het interieur dicht zetten en blijft enkel de aansluiting voor de koplampen over.
I connected the Pin 3 of the clock spring T16 connector to the BCM T73c/13 Pin. Pin 4 goes to +12V. Don't bother the colors of Pin 3 and 4, the're the old wires from my original harness. Didn't feel like buying a service cable set from VW just to get the new pin connectors so I just took them from the old one. Could be good to mark them for future reference though.

I bought a new MFSW harness since the old one doesn't have the connector for the buttons.
The original one was 6C0 971 584 B
The new one is a 6RD 971 584 D, replaces 6C0 971 584 C
To be honest I'm not 100% sure which one I needed, but the one I got didn't work plug and play.

I had to modify it, because the horn didn't work afterwards. The gray wire occupied the horn-connector and went into the connector at the buttons. The blue/white horn-wire also went into the connector for the buttons.
So I removed the gray and blue/white wires from the button-connector, that didn't affect the function of the buttons, all worked perfectly. Then I cut the gray and blue/white wires and soldered the gray one together with the long blue/white so it could reach it's location in the airbag. Then the horn worked again! So I reduced the wires from the button-connector from 5 to 3, but it didn't affect anything. So that made me think if this is the correct harness, but it doesn't matter as long as it works. REMEMBER THOUGH, NOT TO MODIFY THE AIRBAG WIRES!! Those are the green and black twisted ones, Pin number 5 and 6.

After coding with VCDS everything works fine!
I still have the original steering column with cruise control and menu buttons, and the menu buttons on the stalk works as before. And no lost non-compatible functions on the steering wheel.
