Automatisch in/uitklapbare spiegels

Aziatische onderdelen ;)

Moet je dus een importeur zoeken voor de spiegels met motor en t regelapparaat daarvan met bijbehorende schakelaar ;)
En nog een paar dingen waarschijnlijk ;)
(kvergeet altijd wel iets)

Dit is toch één van de dingen die ik mis t.o.v. mijn vorige auto. Ik had dan wel geen automatisch inklapbare spiegels maar ze waren wel van binnenuit electrisch inklapbaar. Erg handig zo af en toe.

Dit had ik ook op me leon effe knoppie omdraaien en hoppa ze stonden naar binnen, dat merk je wel inderdaad of the top of the line versie hebt of niet. Ik had ook dat als ik me linker spiegel verstelde dat de rechter mee ging in contra zeg maar super handig !

Inderdaad alleen vorr RHD, maar de spiegels zelf kun je aanpassen:

For LEFT HAND drive cars only
- invert pins inside joystick (don't know yet exact order) for movement and heating
- invert mirrors support (black disk with screw in its center), since right mirror will be more oriented to the street and less to the interior of the car (I will do it as soon as I can)

Power folding mirrors on my Polo 6R GTI

In order to make them work, You will need to:
- Joystick with heat/fold function
Codes are:
* 6R1959565 G for black finish and white characters (eg. GTI)
* 6R1959565 REH for grey finish and black characters for all of other cars (not GTI)

- buy power mirrors with fold function (they exhist only for RIGHT HAND DRIVE CARS)
Codes are:
* 6R2857501AFB9A for LEFT
* 6R2857502AFB9A for RIGHT

- buy power windows motors with folding function (they cost 150 Eur each at VW service, but You can find them on ebay.de for 50 new)
Codes (valid for LEFT HAND DRIVE cars) are:
* 6R0959801JZ05: front LEFT motor for cars with two doors;
* 6R0959802LZ02: front RIGHT motor for cars with two doors;
or
* 6R0959801JZ04: front LEFT motor for cars with four doors;
* 6R0959802LZ01: front RIGHT motor for cars with four doors

Codes (valid for RIGHT HAND DRIVE cars) are:
*E850201004B
*E850201003B
(don't know which is right and which left)

- bring one/two wires from the available pins of above said motor to the connector placed just behind panel at the point of the door handle

For LEFT HAND drive cars only
- invert pins inside joystick (don't know yet exact order) for movement and heating
- invert mirrors support (black disk with screw in its center), since right mirror will be more oriented to the street and less to the interior of the car (I will do it as soon as I can)

Once You did all of this job You will NOT need to use VAG/VCDS since they will work immediately!

For those who wants to know:
- There is NO "dipping" function (right mirror doesn't go down once You put reverse gear);
- They work ONLY with key inserted and cluster switched on;
- Both of the mirrors will fold;
- You can still fold mirrors manually but it's not recommendable
