Today I RetroFitted the new Touch Panel AC and it works great

Looks good! I've got the touch panel as well and honestly it works great. Once you know where to find the buttons, it's almost as intuitive as the physical buttons. Not quite the same, but pretty good.

Dont know if you're Dutch or English. But you can't i think, the car has to be sort of modded to work the clmatronic.

Nee, kan niet. Climatronic is veel meer dan alleen een bedieningspaneeltje, sensoren, kleppen, kachelhuis is anders, aircopomp is vaak ook anders.

Ik ken iemand die destijds climatronic heeft ingebouwd in een Lupo. Was een best karwei. Heel misschien is het tegenwoordig wel meer een softwareding geworden, maar ik kan me niet voorstellen dat het paneeltje het enige verschil is. Dan zou dat voor heel veel mensen een goedkope retrofit worden.

De beste optie voor Climatronic is een vinkje bij de dealer bij aanschaf. Of als je tweedehands koopt een auto zoeken waarbij de eerste eigenaar dat vinkje aangezet heeft.
